The color scheme from #111 here rendered with W&N Sunshine Yellow and Nut Brown (and crosshatched with a dip pen, of course).
The novel twist this time is the drop shadow. I created it using a Copic Neutral Grey 1 marker, which produced a more realistic shadow in the more abstract drawing. The leaf now looks like it’s floating above the background toward the bottom but on the same plane with the background (or maybe actually part of it) at the top where there’s no shadow.
